The fuchsia pictured in the corner really is named Connie, but not after me, some other lady has that honour. Over the past 20 years or so I've grown and propagated fuchsias in my garden and greenhouses. There is a growing circle of people around the world who use the Fuchsia Mailing List to discuss fuchsia cultivation. They range from highly competent growers to rank amateurs like me. Kenneth Nilsson's site was the first one I visited on the web. A number of fuchsia photos on his site are credited to me. They are all of fuchsias I have grown from young plants purchased at nurseries or cuttings taken from those belonging to friends. Other members of the FML have their own sites: Wouter Addink in Holland is one of them. Anyone interested in contacting the list owner can use this link. |
